What is the Agenda for an MCT Practice Session?

  • Pray the Rosary (approximately 30 minutes before start of MCT Practice)
  • Welcome & Opening Remarks (start on time)
    • Greet and welcome everyone to Men’s Cross Training.
    • Briefly set the tone for the evening.
  • Opening Prayer
    • Lead the group in the opening prayer page 2 of note book
  • Scripture Readings
    • Invite volunteers to proclaim each of the Sunday readings:
  • Scripture Debrief & Reflection (after readings Facilitator provide brief (30-60 second) reflection, to help breakdown readings and lead into questions)
  • Questions
    • Read Questions aloud leaving 30-60sec between each for writing answers
    • Question 1
    • Question 2
    • Question 3
  • Breakout Groups (approximately 15 minutes after start of Practice)
    • Break into small groups for discussion using the provided questions.
  • Return for Group Debrief (45-50 minutes after start of Practice)
    • Regather the group for final thoughts and takeaways.
  • Announcements:
    • Upcoming CTM activities
    • Upcoming Church events (Holy Days, Eucharistic Adoration)
    • Other
  • Closing Prayer (close practice 60 minutes after start time)
    • Open the floor for prayer intentions, Close with the Saint Michael Prayer.
