I have oftentimes stated that the CTM is a growing community of men FOR women, all women. Every woman deserves the love and respect of a Godly man, because they are to us men as the Church is to Christ. 

St. Paul states this in Ephesians 5:

21 “Be subordinate to one another out of reverence for Christ. 

25 Husbands, love your wives as Christ loved the Church and gave himself up for her…

33 however, let each one of you love his wife as himself, and let the wife see that she respects her husband.”

In summary, by following and fulfilling this scripture, men live out their calling from God by loving their wives AND women live out their calling from God by respecting their husbands.  The CTM mindset is for men and women to each become their best for each other. 

I especially appreciated what one gentleman said at an ACTS Retreat a couple years ago. He urged the 50+ men in attendance to simply “love their wives and show it!”

At the same time, I find myself urging women to respect their husbands and show it! I believe this will make men and women more happy and joyful.
